BOAT INSPECTIONS (free) - Scheduled for 7:30 AM Saturday morning (5/29) at Widewater. Anyone in the Stafford area are also welcome to get in on the inspections as well. Maps to get there by water are located on this site look for the map of Dead Mans Tavern (DMT) Please let me know how many are getting inspected (today) so we know how many inspectors are needed. We hope we see you there!

Aquia Creek is a body of water just north of Fairview Beach. Fairview beach is home to Tims II (a spin-off of Tims Rivershore) and typically the host to the world famous, annual Aquapalooza boating event. Fairview Beach is located somewhat in the center of the Potomac River near Fredericksburg Virginia. Nearby Aquia Creek is Potomac Creek which is home to Accokeek Creek. Well thanks to Woofin Away, Juanita and I got the opportunity to take The Spirit of Washington down the Potomac for a dinner cruise. Parking was $15 cash, which we barely scraped together (what happend to plastic?) LOL... The ship was pretty nice and dinner consisted of a buffee of salad, turkey, roast beef, salmon, noodles, sweet potatoes, and a few other side items.
